My 85 Ford Ranger 4x4 is running bad..found out the vacuum lines from the fuel injection were broken.


It's the small diameter ones (green,red, and black). I need to know where they all go so I can get the thing running better....

Any ideas?

is the old four cylander EFI or cab, if its EFI my best guess would be somwere undet the throttle bodyar around the intake manifold

A label uder the hood. If its gone. Go to AutoZone Auto Parts Stores | Get In The Zone! | AutoZone.com Log in. Then click on vehicle repair guide. Under that, click n Driveability and Emission Controls. Go down to vacuum diagrams. And you got it now.

Just tried it . You have to register (only takes a minute with minimal info)
Diagram has no color codes but resembles the sticker that should be under the hood.

 

thats right there is a vacum line diagram, i think on mine its above the grill

 

red and green are for egr
black goes to air filter box
