possible brief engine interrupt???
At first I thought it was just my imagination, but I think it happened again today. My truck seems to cut out for just a fraction of a second, and then start running again. This happened during normal road driving, and it reminds me of an ignition switch problem I had back in the 90s with a honda car.
Truck is a 99 with a 5 speed. No lights on, no codes, passed emissions, and runs like a champ. I've only had the truck about a month and it is driven daily.
Any thoughts on what might be going on?

You will probably have to wait for something to fail more than a fraction of a second to ID a problem.
'99 has spark control built in to computer
Crank position sensor is how the computer times the spark and fuel injectors, if it failed to pulse the computer would stop spark and fuel instantly.
If ignition switch was cutting power gauges should drop then come back up.
EEC relay in engine fuse box powers, EEC(computer), fuel injectors, coils, and fuel pump relay, if it opened briefly engine would stop then start when it closed again.
There is a long list
