I had a dynomax exhaust it was a deep sounding exhaust, but it didn't give me the louder more mellow sound i was looking for. Now I have a flowmaster exhaust and i love it, but a good exhaust guy will be able to either shrink or expand the opening of the muffler to fit within a 1/2inch of the size you bought. But the Ranger i do believe is a 2 1/4inch exhaust pipe. It should work great, let me know how it sounds!

you can always use adapters where one end is 2'' and the other end is the size you need just make sure you weld it i had it clamped on and it fell off several times and i like the way mine sounds but pretty soon it gonna be replace by 3'' pipe only =)
