Upstream 02 sensor location?

This is on a '97 with the 2.3 liter. Can't seem to locate the upstream 02 sensor location.

I'm new to Fords. Somebody give me a hint, please?

Never mind, found it with the help of Autozone's "component location" page. In the exhaust downpipe under passenger seat. O-tay!

the upstream O2 sensor is located in the exhaust pipe just past the exhaust manifold

Thanks. I'm such a GM guy I never thought to look in the downstream pipe itself. But there it was, found it and swapped 'er out in 10 minutes.

The quest for a smog certificate continues.
