Check Oil Light
So my Check Oil light has been coming on on my 1994 2.3 from time to time lately. Not all the time but sometimes when i start the truck it will stay on. I also noticed that the oil gauge has been hanging around more towards the low side instead of being directly in the middle. The first thing i did was to check the oil level and thats fine. Ive been reading around and heard some say that it can be the oil sending unit that might be faulty but I have no idea where its at? Can anyone point me in the right direction?
Or can the light be coming on since its been a while since the last oil change as well? I am planning to change it this weekend.

It most definately could be the sending unit if its not old oil first. When you pull the cap off the valve cover can you at least see some circulation of oil? If you don't know where the sending unit is, I believe it is on the driver's side towards the back of the engine. It has a single black wire lead to it.
