'93 2.3l. why cant i find any parts???

So i just got my ranger like a month ago and i am already itching to mod it. its a 93 with the 2.3l, mazda 5spd, im not sure what rear end it has i think its a 7.5. anybody know if it would be an 8.8? anyway the big question i got is what are the differences between my engine ant the 2.3l out of a 94 or newer ranger??. i would also love to turbo this engine. ANY ideas or answers will be greatly appreciated!! thanks guys!

doing a turbo swap is easier with the pre-95 trucks if you get lucky to find a complete setup out of a t-bird turbocoupe or mustang svo you'll have it made, besides the ppeing.

You without a doubt have the 7.5 rear axle passably with 3:73 gears.

what would be better for racing the v8 engine swap or the turbo swap?? it would be a 302 from hell, bored, stroked, spray, everything, i mean ***** to the wall. same with the turbo motor. witch would be the best?? i want pounds per hp?

V8 swap will get you way more power, for way cheaper, and more reliable.

The 2.3T motors are capable, but require a lot of work to get right.

You have a 7.5 rear.

What are you racing? Autocross I would suggest a 2.3 Turbo, just because it will be a hell of alot lighter. If you are drag racing, get a 5.0 or 351. You can get more power off it.

so if im looking to save weight then 2.3T. Does anybody know how hard a 302 swap is? anybody ever done it or know anyone that has done it?
