i drive a 2.3L 1994 Mazda b2300 and I am really wanting to get some more outta my engine then just 90 hp lol so I was looking into super charger, turbo chargers, or col air intake but cant find nothing. My plans are to get a cowl hood and install a super charger. I curently am driving with 188K miles is it even worth my time n money or shoudl i just trash the whole project and do a engine swap. Maybe i should even begin looking for a new truck

 

with the time and $ spend just do a 5.0L and a t-5 trans...

or a $0.99 for sale sign.

ur not goin to get much power out of a 2.3L, sry to tell ya

 

if i end up picking a 2.3 truck, i'll be getting the entire turbo setup off this turbo coupe i know of.. it would be sweet then with that on it.. you can get decent power out of those things when done right

 

those turbo coupes have tested up to 1k hp

dont have the website on hand.. but you can buy a turbo block and header.. tons of stuff.. some people have seen 700 freakin hp on those things... ridiculous.. of course it takes alot of money and time.. i was just talking for some cheap power to go off roadin with lol

not a whole lot cuz the stock inards wont take as much boost, ive been told that u can only do like 8-10 lbs b4 everything starts to fail, and i belive if i remember correctly, someone told me its like 5-7 hp per 1lb of boost, but i could be wrong

 

on the stock cast pistons i wouldnt go over 5psi with these engines, but with forged pistons well...
