07 2.3 2wd stx auto w/ stock everything

Looking to figure out what I can do as far as suspension setups. I only know about wheels etc and engines but nothing on truck suspensions.

What am I able to do and what is the range of prices for individual options?

Also what parts work from other vehicles say like a 2wd Toyota prerunner trd ? Or mazdas.

Help a fella out por favor. I know you guys are beautiful and helpful. Hit me with some knowledge.

You need to answer this question first: Are you wanting to go higher or lower?

Right on you have a point. Can't believe I didn't state that. Going higher. Perhaps about 5ish or so inches.

I should've also asked if you have a coilspring or torsion bar suspension. I'm assuming coilsprings.

Then go with coil spacers up front. I believe most of them get you an inch to 1.5 inches. I have torsion bars, so I've never shopped for spacers. I know plenty of guys on here have run them though.

In the rear, go with an add-a-leaf (AAL). That'll get you another inch or so in the rear.

Then top it off with a 3" body lift. That should get you the amount of lift you're after.

Aside from aal's, once "having installed" the coil spacers, would I need to get a total of four new shocks approximately 2" longer?

I think the answer to that is yes, but I don't know for sure. You could find out with a quick search though.

Long travel. Pricy 3-6000 easily. Mid travel bout half the price. Camburg 5.5 kit good entry level.Built strong. For the rear get some deaver spring, $600 and extended shackles $25-40 at most auto parts place (beltech 6400) flipped hangers. Should get you 3-4"lift.
