Help! I need advice..

Okay I'm considering getting these items for lifting my 1999 2wd as an option to a very expensive lift. What do you guys think?

Superior Automotive/4 rear adjustable two way Spring-Lox sets (18-1201A) | Coil Spring Booster | AutoZone.com

Superior Automotive/3 in. U-Bolt lift or lowering block kit (13-1040) | Suspension Lift/Lower Kit | AutoZone.com

you could do that, or find a bridge pull off to the side of the road, engage your hazards for safety, and jump off it. then your truck will be lifted way above you. either way you might die

LOL!

I know that some of the a-arm suspension came with coil springs, but I don't remember what years... If its torsion bars its much easier to lift the front end. You would be much better off spending the pennies and getting a superlift kit with the proper drop brackets. Those coil adjuster things are an accident waiting to happen.

I would stay away from lift blocks. They will contribute to axle wrap.

What I would recommend, is the Belltech 6400 shackle. It's about the same price and will lift you anywhere between 1 and 3" in the rear.
