1993 4x2 Ranger lift problems NEED HELP PLEASE
Hi.
Three days ago, the drives side radius arm blew out due to rust on my 93 Ranger. Two days ago we put a lift kit on just simply because we figured if we had the truck torn apart anyways, this would be a great time to do it. The lift kit had two options of 4" and 5.5" lifts. We set it to the 5.5". To start out in order to get the lift kit to fit, we had to modify the frame to have room to bolt it to the frame. We took the sway bar off because it was not allowing me to cut the wheel fully to the right or to the left. After putting everything back together while on the truck lift, the wheels had shifted to the point of not being aligned. Almost a sucked in look. We tweaked the tie rod's until we could get it looking somewhat better. We pulled the truck down off of the lift, the tires seemed somewhat straight (still a little tilted but it seemed much better than before) and proceeded to back the truck out.
When driving away the truck began to shake uncontrollably, throwing me side to side. It felt like the wheels were going to rattle off, and it had almost thrown me into oncoming traffic.
Can someone please help me? I have no clue what to do.
Do I need any specific parts to correct this problem?
Do I have to have a sway bar?
Would putting the lift to the 4" holes help fix the camber?
Please.
