gear ratio question?

gear ratio question?

does anyone know what the stock gear ratio is fo a 04 edge 2wd....thought about changing them out but i dont know what i have and dont know where to look for the answer.....never done this befor



sry just figured ou i posted this in the wrong thread too.....i know im a dumbass....sry

im going to guess 4.10s its pretty standard.

look on your back axle for the tag, it is a metal tag held on by one of the diff cover bolts

what ever that tag says post it up then we can tell you

Or look at the certification label on the driver door or jamb. There is an axle code there that can be deciphered to tell the ratio, ring gear size and whether it is limited slip or open.

Yeha use Bob's link but since you have a 04 EDGE w/ a 3.0 engine id bet you have 4.10s, but Bob's link should show you if you have LS or not

Maybe 3.73,i have a 98 4x4,and that is what it has.
