This could be the SAS with the LEAST pictures on the site! That needs to change!

Haha I'm just playing man... what are you doing for steering? The progress so far looks awesome!

Is it just me though or is your tire going to rub on your front bumper?

lookin good.

edit. also, what kind of rear bumpstops are those?
No, those measurements were just for a general idea; they'll get tweaked abit. 38x15.50 R15 Swamper SSR's. 15x10 Rock Crawler Street Locs (its all in my sig). Rear bumpstops are Energy Suspenson.

Hey dood, shoot me a # to reach you at - I'll cruise by. Not to mention, whenever you pass by my place, once the truck is back home, don't hesitate to stop by.

Should be rolling out by the 26/27th. I'm gonna change out at least the front springs from 5" of lift to 6". In the back I'm gonna add the factory bumpstop block, and adjust the rear shackle hanger so that I get another 1/2" or so out of it. I'm also gonna fab some traction bars, that way there will be no question when it comes to axle rap.

Up front I finally ground down all the shmada left from the old suspension that was removed, so the frame rails are nice and clean and ready for the steering componentry to be figured out and done. That's really the only area untouched at this point. Tomorrow is set for the header install. Then the area will be ready for steering, and finally the shock hoops. Both axles are ready to be put in place for shock tabs. The front drive shaft is currently being lengthened w/a long-travel kit.

When all is in place, axles and whatnot are painted, then its onto the lift for gears, clutch, (probably do the traction bars then, too) and whatever else to be finished up.

Toyota steering box for steering. All other steering componentry (firewall to steering box) will be custom. What you see as the tire rubbing the front bumber - just perspective of the pic. There's plenty-o room ;-)

5" Toyota long-travel leafs all around currently (check out my sig). Probably gonna be changing to 6" in the front though.

Oh, and some of us choose to load pics when we have the time away from the truck! I'd rather devote my time to getting the truck done and put the pics later.. :-P

I know you're just playing though!

Looks awesome man! What axle are you using?, I don't remember you saying, looks like a Waggy,
also have you had to cut/turn the "outer c" to get the correct castor/pinion angles or do you think it will be OK? how are you going to set all that up?
