Yeah we had my jack we have at the house maxed out and at max the truck was sitting at 37" but the tires were not off the ground I could probley get a 4x4 post if It would help to have the wheels off the ground
I have a 2008 XLT 4x4 and did 5 full rotations on the T-Bar and maybe got a 1/8 of an inch of height on level cement. That leaves me wondering the same question as the rest of you guys. I have also noticed the same height differences in other make and model trucks like the Toyota Tacoma. The old school Tacoma's are higher than the new one by about one inch. I think the auto companies are doing this to give a all around smoother ride for compact trucks being they have shorter wheel bases compared to half ton trucks.
