i own a 2001 ranger edge regular cab 2wd with a 4.0 and front torrsion bar suspension, so i cant seem to find any thing else besides drop keys for the torrsion bars i was wondering if anyone has found a drop spindle that would work with out gettin rid off the torrsion bars. and if not i was also wondering what it takes to swap the torrsion bars with new control arms that accomadate coil springs. is it simple swaping out the control arms and puttin in coils or am i just wishing its that easy . any help from any one would be help full. justin

 

That is a very good question, to which i would like to know the answer. I have the drop keys right now, had em for like 2 weeks now, They definetely lower the front, but the lack of front shocks sucks hardcore. I'll probably end up rasing my truck now...lowered keys was not worth it.

to do a coil suspension, your looking at months of work and much money invested (also alot of custom fabrication). In my opinion torsion bar suspensions aren't ment for lowering. Your better off buying a XL or XLT 2wd frame that already has coils on.
