4inch lift do i have to mod. anything

With the 4 inch super lift i was just curious if i will have to ext. the drive shaft or if i will have to do anything to my transmission and if anyone knows how hard it is exactly to put one on..because you have to relocate the torsion bars. I have a 98 ford ranger XLT 4.0V6 4x4 if that matters

The stock front driveshaft will last a couple thousand miles before the upper joint eats its self.

the rear driveshaft will be fine.

you may also want to consider upgrading the brakelines to some longer stainless steel lines to help alleviate some stress under braking.

you're more than likely gonna go the same route as others and go with 35" tires which means more rolling mass and more weight to bring to a stop.

I know most people leave the stock lines, but i personally think it would be a good idea...
