beauty is in the eye of the beholder i want to do the same to my 97 2wd i say go for it if you can dream it you can build it.

Putting in a Dana44 rear is almost useless IMO...Ford 8.8 is a great axle and is a very stong axle as well. Get yourself an Explorer rear(31 spline disc brakes).

I see that D30 coming out of it soon after its build...
