Which steering kit?

I'm looking for a new d44 drag link and tie rod. I've found some kits around at ballistic, but I hear they take forever. I'm just interested in using tre's for the ends now. Anyone have a "kit" they recommend? One that's got ends, tube, and weld-in bungs and jam nuts all included? Thanks!

i wouldn't buy the kit.. buy the tube and bungs, then go to ORilleys or Autozone and give them the part numbers of the TREs that the kit comes with.. they're a few bucks cheaper AND lifetime warranty..

unless your goin with heims.

I'll have to look into that option. Not going with heims right now as my steering arms are tapered for tre's.

Well just quickly checking around it looks like it would be more expensive buying the pieces separately. That tubing is expensive! Hell all of it is! I'll probably call ballistic after work and see if they can ship a steering kit soon.

bit more expensive.. but how much? enough to buy another TRE when one wears out and still be cheaper?

hell i have one of the ES2027L tre's sitting in my tool box, i'm not gonna need it for a spare on the ranger again. I broke it at Katemcy, went and bought one from Orilleys and when i got home i swapped the broken one out under warranty. pm me if you end up buying them individually. its your for cheap.

btw, hurry up and get that sami goin, i wanna go wheelin with it again haha
