Giving the suspension a little tune-up...

Some of you know i did a Coil Over swap in the front end a couple years back...

Front Coils:
Ever since i did the 5.0L swap my front end has been saggin a bit with the extra weight of the new motor. I HAD 750lbs coils in the front and i have pretty much cranked the coils to the point of where im running out of threads on the strut. Also I do believe im starting to bind the coils a bit. So it was time to upgrade to some stiffer coils. Hypercoil 850lbs will do hopefully.

Rear Struts:
Now on to the rears. I have just the regular ol' superlift struts in the rear, they were ok for the past few years but i think its time i change them out. So i bought me some bilstein and here are the specs: 5125's with 255/70 Med/HD valving, 11.94" Travel, 17.91" Collapsed, 29.7" Extended

-Model: F4-BE5-6249-H5

Well its been a long time since i gave the truck a little TLC and here is the start of it again.... Looking for a better ride on the highway, ect....

New wheels, tires and rear disc brake conversion will be next on the list this fall.
