Icon4 Lowering the Ranger, what do you think of this?

So, I've decided I'd like to lower my ranger. Though I don't have much money and I don't know anything in this department.

I found this kit

http://app.infopia.com/Shop/Control/...520/rid/127794

What do you think of this kit, would it even achieve the lowered look?
Would it be ruff on the struts??
and I guess, just what is the best and safest way to lower a truck in a cost efficient manner?

I know I'm a newby and I'm full of questions. I apologize

Its good for the price, But if you want a low stance you need Ibeams. Check out Craigslist because I have seen them for $125 up and you will get 3" inches in the front and then go buy lowering blocks for the rear for a 4"drop.

Yeah, sorry about that I didn't think that through very well. I have an 02, ha...I didn't pay much attention to the 82-97 on the site...I just saw the price and such and posted it up really quick. Don't I feel stupid now!
But, I guess that means..just disregard that link.
Also, I've been Googling lowering blocks and Ibeams and can't seem to find anything? It puzzles me

if your truck is an 02 and your looking at a kit for 82-97 it might not work. that is a coil'd front end and your 02 could be torsion bar'd. we need more info. reg cab/ext cab. please go make a signature so we can help you better.

Your 02 doesn't have Ibeams, it has A arms. Your two options are a 2/3 drop via drop springs and a rear flip kit.

or a 4/5 kit which is like a 2/3 kit but with new upper and lower A arms to get 4" in the front

yes it's more than Suspension Max but DJM is a lot better quality

It's a Reg cab
Do you think the 2/3 drop would be enough? Or would stock S10s sit lower than me??

Btw, Thanks guys, your help is much appreciated.

2/3 is not real low, but still a nice lil drop. You will most likely want more. I would go with a 4/5 if you have the extra funds.
