Ball joints/ UCA's
Ok, so I noticed going over some speed bumps that I hear a crunch from the passenger side. Doesn't happen on turns. I pull into the garage, jack it up under the lower control arm and push and pull on the tire... very little play, but a little. I pushed down on the fender and hear the crunch again. (Original shocks as well at 77k miles, so those could be bad). Also the passenger front tire leans in at the top. Boot on upper ball joint is torn (again), and it's already been replaced twice in the last year. So.. I'm thinking of getting good Moog ball joints and doing both sides. I have a 2300 mile road trip coming up in a few months, don't want any issues.
I searched around, maybe I didn't look hard enough for this answer, but when I am getting Moog lower ball joints from Rock Auto... do I get the regular ones (MOOG Part # K8695T) or do I get the oversized ones (MOOG Part # K8695T006) oversized ball joint; fits control arm with 1.749 in. to 1.753 in. I.D.
I'm sure it's been answered before, so sorry for being a pain, but how do I know which ones I need? My specs are in signature.
And also, just to clarify part numbers for the UCA's....
MOOG Part # K8708T Control Arm w/Ball Joint
Frt Susp; Upper; LH; 4WD; Problem Solver; Incl. bushings
Frt Susp; Upper; LH; RWD; w/torsion bar susp.; Problem Solver; Incl. bushings
MOOG Part # K80068 Control Arm w/Ball Joint
Frt Susp; Upper; RH; 4WD; 1 piece design; Incl. bushings
Frt Susp; Upper; RH; RWD; w/torsion bar susp.; 1 piece design; Incl. bushings
Those correct? Thanks for the help fellas.

Your UCA numbers are correct for a 2004 4x4.
Normally, for the lower ball joints, the K8695T is what you need. The 0.006" oversize might be a better choice after the lower ball joints have been replaced a few times causing the hole in the stamped LCA to get loose. Using the oversize on the first or second replacement would probably just make the job more difficult for no reason.
