Don't even get me started on DBR. Some of you have seen the crap that guy pulled on GE, his work might be good, but he was less than pleasant to myself and the other GE members when it was still up.

DBR are pretty good guys. My buddy Kevin just had his supercrew built by them and it handles great. Plus they seem to have this 4x4 prerunner stuff down pretty good.

I was not specifically talking about prerunners, but in general I think there is way more stuff out there for 2wds then 4x4s. Really what choices do you have for a 4x4, RCD, superlift, Weldtech, and DBR. Out of those choices none really give me a good bang for the buck feeling.

Come to CA/NV/AZ, there is enough "market" here to make up for the other 47 states.

You'd be surprised at what we spend on our trucks out here, but if you want to play, you have to pay. Function over form anyday. I've already sunk over 5k into my truck and it's only just starting.

So does that mean you have to buy the 3 link for the back and the long travel for the rear?

You don't HAVE to, but I've never heard of anyone linking the front of a beamed or armed Ranger. F series (SD's) yes.

If you get LT in front and not in back, you'll be disproportionate in travel numbers, and vice versa, which isn't good unless you can make up for it with valving. Correct valving can do wonders, and if done right, say a 10" front end could blow LT fronts away if the 10" was valved perfectly and the LT not. My truck as it sits get 9" in front, ~15-16 in rear, but I'm making it up by having dual Kings in the front which will be valved to compliment the rear.

Don't get ME started on DBR.. Aaron is a great guy and a hell of a fabricator. I proved everybody wrong on GE and would have no problem doing it here too, but lets not let it come to that ok..

You guys should see the Camburg Edge in person! It kicks serious ***! The work is absolutly imaculate. The thing rode like a friken champ with the 6.0 Kit on it and I can't wait to feel it now, hope Jerry doesn't wad it up at the 1000... lol..

Gil, about the tires... they work amazingly well in the desert. Jerry loves the tire. Every time I'v talked to him he's always raved about how well they hook up and how well they hold up. Its not purly a sponsor thing, he could have any tire company they want sponsor the truck with the reputation they have.

Anywho.. I really dont want to see ANY bashing of ANYBODY by ANYBODY in this thread or on this board.. got it?

I can't wait to get my dbr kit installed. Reguardless of their GE reputation.

Dont worry me and trent already said we wont say anything bad. Its good quality work though and if I WAS going to buy expensive *** suspension and Camburg was not around I would go DBR.

To each his own I guess.

Jason, just because a name that you support to the ends of the earth comes up in a thread you're threatening to lock it? If that's case then this is turning into GE faster than I thought. You didn't prove anything to anyone on that site, and it really gets me whenever you think your're better than everyone else just because you think you "proved everyone wrong." Stop acting like some other people on this site and get it together, just 'cause your a moderator now doesn't give you the power to abuse it.

Glad to see this kit come out!!!

hey Trent, slow down a little buddy. Jason wasn't out of line with what he said and you are getting really bent over it. i know that by me saying this you are going to be upset at me, but fine, i didn't like what DBR did at ONE time, BUT that is in the past and they do make a sick kit... and so does Camburg. i would take either one if i could but that isn't in my deck of cards anymore. Let it me known that both kits are awesome and that whatever fits your needs that you won't be disappointed

Who said anything about locking? This is a good informative thread about Camburgs new Long Travel System.

It is NOT however a bashing thread. Bashing of a person/product/company is NOT allowed on this site and will be delt with.

And just so you know, I'm not moderating this thread because I have such an interest in it.. just so you know.

I will support any company or person that trys to help other people to the best of thier abilities. Both Aaron Dixon and Jerry Zaiden give out standing customer service.

Anywho.. have fun.

I never saw any mention of locking it.

Because Jason is a moderator, he can't have an opinion?

Y'all guys need to keep this hostility down.

Ford Rangers..

We all like them...

Remember that...

It's just the internet. Just a website.

Back to talking about super cool suspension I could never afford...

Its not so much the number of options but the value of the options, and getting the most value for the dollar. Seems like the really good kits are way too much money and the less exspensive kits are crap.

What I really should get to have a nice setup is a pre98 ranger with a TTB setup, do and easy SAS and build a super tuff setup.
