Icon5 larger keys?

hey guys...im considering buying a 3" lift kit that consists of larger torsion keys made by Truxxx and add-a-leafs by pro comp...what do ya guys think??? i already cranked my t-bars and i want a lil more clearance.

dont do it. its a waste of money. search some threads and you'll find out why. i was gonna buy something similar at one point and was told its a bad idea

Torsion keys are a bad idea, there are alot of threads regarding these and issues they can cause. Extra wear and tear on ball joints and all that jazz. Most people who have them have taken them off. the AAL isnt a bad thing. YOu can do 2" inch shackles.

larger keys are basically just cranking your t bars

the shackles or add-a-leafs only lift the rear...id like the front a tad higher too

Adding those keys will crank the t-bars beyond their limits which will result in a faster wear on your ball joints and everything in that area. Its just to much stress for them to handle.

Please search this as others have had issues with them. If you have cranked your t-bars maybe you need to get #1 bars, or its time for a BL or a Suspension lift.
