bump stops on lowered truck...

so this question is for all the lowered people.

how far did you cut your bump stops down? i know they stock ones are too long for when you lower it and I want to know how short to cut mine!

thanks!

which ones?

I have no issues with the front but then again its djm pancake bumpstops on the DJM lower control arms..

as for the back flipkit should put you about half inch away from the bumpstop cut it in half and be done.

Ahaha. What drop are you doing? If you're staying with the 3/5 with the 5" in the rear you'll probably need to chop the bumpstop in half like mark said. With his 7" drop it basically rides the bumpstop but then again he didn't cut them.

The backs shouldnt be to much of an issue with just a flipkit on id trim them with a sawzall

As for the front definitely trim them since you are still running stock control arms. Once the coils settle fully you will notice the bumpstop will be firmly resting on the lower control so id trim them to as low as you can get them or just replace them with djm pancake bumpstops. If it was me Id completely take them off.

Or just buy djm arms.
