The stock ones are a unit piece. Only the lowers are separately removeable.

Correction It seems on the 98-00 that Some are one piece and some are not. The balljoints were casted into the upper control arms on my 98 but my friends 99 they can be pressed out. It all depends on where the truck was made some come with the balljoints casted and some dont like stated above depends on where the truck was made the only way to truely know is to go out and look at the truck. If they can be pressed out then Im guessing they can be pressed into the fabtech uppers unless you need some special balljoint for offroad application that is different than a stock balljoint which I really do not know because im a lowered guy lol.
