Bilstein 5100 leaking?
I was under the truck today and noticed this:
Not a big leak, more like a steady seep on one side of the front left shock. Ive only had them for 20k miles. Is this normal? They were installed at the same time I put on my 2.5" coil/UCA lift. I haven't beat on them. I don't do any hardcore offroading.
The truck still rides fine and it doesn't squeak when I bounce the front end. The front doesn't even bounce by itself. So other than a visual leak, I dont really have any other signs of a blown shock. So how urgent is this?
I'm curious about others' experiences with the 5100s longevity.

It dosnt look too bad, but i would keep an eye on it. If it gets worse, take your info and make a phone call or shoot out an e-mail to Bilstein. I have got to think they would have a replacement policy, i had to do this for my fathers F-350's Edlebrock IAS shocks. Edlebrock sent me 4 brand new ones to put on. I have to think Bilstein would help you out.
