Bilsteins ROCK!

Ok well after 2 weeks waiting for the delivery boy at parts store I finally got my shocks installed. At first I was worried about the stiffness, I didn't want to have the AAL feeling at all four corners. But I do have to say these dont feel stiffer than the stock shocks Ford used on my 4x4. I went over a railroad track the other day and didn't know I crossed the damn thing until I remembered. I usually have to creep them. These shocks were the best investment so far besides the Toyo tires I have. When I hit the brakes my nose end doesn't go down, when I hit a pothole they take a beating for me so back doesn't have to, but dont go thinking these are airbags, you still bounce alot, but not as BAD... you will always bounce with 4x4 shocks.

One more thing. Rangers look sexy with Yellow and Baby Blue near the frame. Now all I need to do is order the BILSTEIN logo sticker and the white carbon fiber or white Toyo Tires Logo sticker as well.

I'm impressed w/ the OEM set on my LII too. My apartment building has these massivly oversized speedbumps (I've about them before). I can usually zip over them pretty quickly w/o too many problems. Old truckzilla's rear would hop quite a bit. Same is true for the pot-hole ridden highway on/off ramps in Massauslessness. I've never really determined if it's the shocks, the heavy springs in the LII, or the bigass 31" tires. But I like it.

Sans pavement it's no contest.

My rear will still hop on those deep holes and large speed bumps, if the conditions are met (speed, angle, direction of front tires).

O these are not the FX4 Bilstein shocks. I can get the part #'s if anyone wants them.

I wish I had Bilsteins! :

The superlift shocks are better than stock though.
