im gonna get new shocks tueday and i cant decide between the por comp ES3000 and the ES9000

Link:
ES3000 - http://4wheelparts.com/4wp/products/...mp;expand=sub6

ES9000 -http://4wheelparts.com/4wp/products/productLine.asp?cat=SUS&prodline=1158&catN ame=Suspension&man=PRO&parentProdline=SusS hocksPRO&expand=sub6

so please help me decide, price really isnt an issue cuz they are like only $5 different

the ES9000 are firmer and harder to install, the 3000 are easier to compress and easy to install, the 3000 are $5 cheaper, the 9000 give better handing offroad, the 3000 with take more of the load off the tires

decisions, decisions....

Pro Comp ES3000 or ES9000 Shocks

I like the 9000's, but I am biased:) Finally got to see how they rode offroad a little today. I was very impressed over the stock ones:)

I have the 3000's they are good shocks don't get me wrong but I would still get the 9000's just becasue they have a better recommendation from the guys at 4WP that I have talked to, of course this was after I had bought the 3000's.

They had said that they would handle better off road and would be a little smoother on the highway as well.

3000 are gas charged, 9000 are nitrogen charged. the 9000 are stiffer if you do more hard core offroading.

The twin tube cellular gas design of the ES 3000 is engineered to substantially improve driving comfort and performance both on and off the road.

The Pro Comp ES 9000 is the ultimate nitrogen gas charged shock absorber.

you know what i meant

My 3000's are awesome both on and offroad; only stiff when you need them to be. I'd like to see what the 9000's feel like though.

i sold my 9000s to ryan up there, they were a little too stiff for my taste, so when i get new shocks again ill probably go with the 3000s just to get a softer ride

yeah but they are not as accessable to me as the pro comp shocks, and i cant get 30% off on them, and they probly have a higher MSRP than either pro comp shocks

but if money wasent an issue i would for sure get some monotube shocks, but i would probly get the Pro Comp MX6 since i can get at least 10% off on them

I got the edelbrock performer IAS (monotube) shocks and I really like them.
I was going to get the procomp 9000's but they are pretty harsh in rangers.
I would probably go with the 3000's.

Moving to the Lakeland, FL area...Anybody down there?

I like how the 3000s are on my truck, but I have no clue what the 9000s ride like. Oh yea, when you get the 4" Blocks put on, be prepared for a hell of a stiff ride bro, you hit a bump in a rode(or speed bump) your rear end won't move..Its soooo stiff...But I like how it rides though, its much smoother!

well i decided against the 4" blocks, a lil too much axle wrap and i really dont need it that high, i like the semi-prerunner look anayway

i went up to 4wheelparts today and ordered the....... ES3000's, i decided against the 9000 cuz me and the ppl who worked there thought it would be a lil too stiff for my truck, too bad they didnt have them in stock, they will be mailed to me by thursday but since im goin on vacation friday i wont install them until after the 18th
