2wd Suspension Lift

Well I have desided that I would want to do a mild suspension lift before a body lift because my coils and shocks are going out. What Im thinking about doing is buying 4 Procomp ES1000 shocks to replace the 4 that are going out. (I assume that the front suspension has shocks as well as the coils. Correct me if Im wrong). Then buying new 2" drop shackles for the rear be it off of ebay or finding some off of a chevy or what not. And then buying new coils for the front and maybe a 2" spacer for em.

My question is, is there anything Im missing or need to know? Ive heard something about joints going out, but thats only for 4x4s right?
