2006 4x4 lift help body lift

ive been looking at my options for lifting my truck its a 2006 xlt 4.0 4x4 5 speed
i would like a body lift and i found a performance accessories 3in body lift but i have heard some bad things about them.
in mikerider's thread he said this
"the problem with bodylifts is; 1. you need a shift extension for manuals and if you are lucky enough to have amanual transfercase the shifters hit the body floor and wont engage, and an extension is not made for this. 2. the bumpers are atached to the frame, leaving a 3in gap, brakets are included to fix this but they are flimsy to say the least. also tow hooks and hitches bring up a problem." (i dont care about the flimsy brackets ill make some thicker ones in my welding shop if need be)
and ive heard that after the shifting extension you cant use the cup holders.
instead of a body lift i have tried cranking my torsion bars but they were to tight to turn even with a jack under it.

if all the things said about the PA lift would this ebay lift work?
