With the proper modifications, they will still rub only a tiny bit. I cranked my t-bars pretty much all the way, and trimmed my bumper and valence in these places.

Hopefully you can tell where you need to trim. Basically, just put the tires on and turn the wheel back and forth and see where it rubs (it helps to have a little sister to turn the wheel for you while you look to see where it rubs) and then cut the flares and bumper until it doesnt rub anymore. The only place it rubs anymore is on the driver's side emergency brake hump. I used a box cutter with a very sharp blade, but you can use pretty much anything that will work. Some people use dremel tools, some people use other stuff. It's up to you.

if you do not have 31" tires try them first
a 33x10.5 tire will fit with NO TORSION CRANK - at least a 2004 Level II
anything more (width wise) will rub
it has also been determined that the Level II trucks have the strongest torsion bar and it does seem to sit up higher from the factory
the width will cause the tires to rub in places that CAN NOT be trimmed (inside fender wall - for sure, and possibly top of spindle)
that is for anything over 10.5 (unless you crank or lift)
also at full flex the wider tire (more than 10.5) will rub on the back side (outside fender) when stuffed up into the fender - there is not that much space
this is all with the OEM 3.75 BS on a 15" rim
I say try a set of 31 x 10.5 tires first - it is the largest factory spec tire
get an agressive tread AT and it will look great
no ******* the engine, should have no effect on braking power, and your speedo can be calibrated to that ratio
