Post SWAY BAR DISCONNECTS

Hey everyone. I've got an 05 Ranger 4.0 4x4. I snapped my sway bar links last year and ever since the ride on the high way has ultimately suffered from this. I do not want to buy oem sway bar links because I obviously like to off road the truck whenever I can. I'm starting my build in the next few weeks and Im thinking of things I'm going to need. I already found a lift/body lift and I know what tires I'm looking into. The lift is a 3" from 2" rear with add a leaf and longer shocks. The lift also comes wight the torsion keys so I can crank those as well.

As for the sway bar links...Because the ranger does so well off road with these broken links and not so well cornering around town, I'm in need of some quick disconnects especially once I'm lifted. I've looked everywhere and Ranger parts just don't seem to be readily available. If anyone has any tips for a quick disconnect solution for me just post on this thread.

Build plan:
- 3" front lift 2"rear lift with add a leaf and long shocks
- torsion bar crank
- 2" maybe 3" body lift
- 33x12.5 m/t tires
- rear rescue bumper
- lights lights lights

Any other tips just shoot me your opinions. The 4" super lift is just too damn expensive. Thank all

whys that? Doesn't seem like a bad idea for an inch or so of clearance

Pass.

Just crank your stock setup. It does the same think as aftermarket keys - but it's free.

The bad part about aftermarket keys (besides costing money for nothing) - is that they allow you to crank the bars even further than stock which would just magnify the potential wear problems.

Summary:
Stock keys w/ bars cranked 1.5"-2" = Potential for stiffer suspension & minor increase in front end component wear.
Aftermarket keys w/ bars at standard location = Stock keys w/ bars cranked 1.5"-2" + Lighter Wallet = Same potential for stiffer suspension & minor increase in front end component wear.
Aftermarket keys w/ bars moderately cranked = Major increase of front end component wear.
Aftermarket keys w/ bars max cranked = Imminent truck death & destruction. lol

This is why. Lol. Thanks Logan!

Thanks! Not much to do for the center clearance except buying the superlift and getting 35s.. Wish the funds were that deep lol.
