Could you lower it? Yeah. Could you bag it? Not without a ****-ton of work... like relocating the engine haha. Lowering it could be as easy as getting re-indexed torsion keys or backing out the t-bars a few turns. You have the same limitations of lowering 2wd EDGEs, but with the added complication of the front axle.

not to mention one of the most retarded things is seeing a lowered 4x4 truck or a 4x4 truck with 22s. I'm not sure which is worse, seeing one lowered or butchered into a street queen?

don't get me wrong, too each their own. I just don't grasp the idea of ruining something someone once paid extra on for an option over 4x2.

lol, it's all good, i was just playing around. i wouldn't ever lower my 4x4 becuase i too think it's a waste, especially because of what i need my truck for. i was just bored in photoshop so i lowered my truck a tad for the pic, lol.

i would never do that.. i have a "friend" with a lowered Z71 w/ 22s and it absolutely kills me. i hate it sooooo much. if he only knew how much i wanted and needed 4wd he would never even think of doing something like that to his truck

The purpose of 4wd is to have 4 wheel traction, no matter where, on road or off. I personally would never lower a 4wd, but if you set it up right, you would have one helluva road racer with awesome traction. Supposedly you can put a Ranger 4x4 in 4x4 up to 80mph. With a little work, that could be an extreme advantage on the street.
