I think you guys missed Dangerranger01's comment. This brackets wouldn't have anything to do with your ride height. All they do is beef up the shock mounts to accept a coilover and be able to support the entire weight of the truck, since your T-Bars are disappearing. Your ride height is all going to be determined by the Coilover length / Spring Rate.
I believe we are referring to stock height as not having a suspension lift. I think when this idea was first thought of, it was for people with suspension lifts, myself, along with alot of other people on here dont have suspension lifts, but still want to eliminate the torsion bars from our trucks. So we want a set of coilovers and the hardware to mount them to a "stock" height truck, which is not lifted.

Yeah... I don't think Shadow is offering Coilovers... this will only be for a set of brackets to mount coilovers. At least how I'm reading it.

correct. this will only be the upper and lower mounts that will allow you to bolt a coilover shock onto the lower control arm and the shock tower. you will have to weld reinforcement tabs onto your shock tower to strengthen it. these brackets are only for adapting coilovers.

for those that want them for "stock ride height" i wont be able to provide any measurements for what coilover you will need. only thing i can say is, youre going to have to put it on and measure. and then order your coilover accordingly. but once that first person takes the plunge, its smooth sailin for the rest of yall. us lifted peeps already know what works on our trucks..

For a stock height would the stock shock mount be strong enough to hold the weight of the truck? Mudslinger beefed his up with some gussets but was that just because he had a lift?

iit doesnt make a difference whether you have a lift or stock. you will need to add some gussets either way because we arent 100% sure that they are strong enough to hold on their own.

I think there is a ton of interest for these... I think a lot of us have buyers remorse for not buying an RCD kit when it was available. i know I sure do.

ballpark....i was thinking it would be approx 100 ish dollars for bother uppers and lowers. and id send yall the right bolts you need in order to bolt them on too. im not gonna send wimpy 3/8" grade 5 bolts like rcd used to send out. when i got mine i drilled them out and used 1/2" grade 8 hardware. i figured its the least i could do if yall wanted them.

but yea just off the top of my head, i was thinking 100-110. after material + manhours

pretty self explanatory. one day at work this week, while im bored, im make an official write up on exactly what you have to do to install the hardware to switch to coilovers. its not hard. you will have to weld the gussetts on though. its just a small strip of metal that goes along the frame/shock mount to brace it a bit.

You should just change them a little so that it isnt a direct copy

I see copied products all the time, as long as you dont use the same name I doubt they could do anything, and Im sure they wouldnt even care considering they dont make it anymore.
