Torsion bar help

Hey guys I have a 2000 ranger 4x4 sport xlt do I have torsion bars?? If so I need help find the bolt please help Guys order my 265 75 r16 buckshot murders will these fit good thanks

Look in the front tire wheel wells. If you see a coil spring, well it's pretty self explanitory. LOL
If you look under the front of the truck (either side of the transmission), you'll see two long round bars that run parellel with the trans and connect to the lower A-arms. Follow those and you'll see a bolt on the bottom of each bar under the cab. Give those a crank and you'll raise and level the front end. Crank a few times on level ground and use a tape measure to check the height on both sides.

Also search on here for t-bar cranking. Plenty of threads on how to do it. Good luck.

You have torsion bars. Those tires will fit fine without messing with the torsion bars. If you crank the bars you are going to get a rougher ride, top out the suspension more often and cause the torsion bars to wear out sooner.

he should clear 265's sitting stock cause i had those on my 04
