How bad will a lifft with torsion keys make my ride?

This is the kit I am looking at for my 02 xlt 4x4.
Ford Explorer/Ranger 3" Front 2" Rear Lift Kit w/ Shocks 4WD/2WD 1998-2012
I have heard all these horror stories about torsion keys give you a terrible ride and ruin all your front end suspensin parts and drive shaft. Is any off this true? Thanks to all

You are better off cranking your stock keys. Aftermarket keys will ruin ball joints and cv joints if over cranked. It will not put any additional stress on the front driveshaft though as it does not change the driveline geometry.

My friend cranked his stock ones about an inch and a half and I didn't notice a difference in ride quality
