Shocks

I have a ranger edge with cranked t bars and fabtech 3" spindles, I have the gay fabtech shocks that came with the lift. I am looking for some shocks that are a little longer, but a bolt on, not something I need to weld hoops on for. What are some good shocks, and places I can buy them? Thanks for any help!

I've heard great things about Bilstein. PM Roach2004 he just ordered some for his 2004 Edge with the 3" spindle lift. He should be able to give you the part numbers.

i dont see whats wrong with the fabtech shocks that come with it, i had them on my old truck forever and those things never gave up, the shocks and the spindles were the only thing that didnt break on my front end when i jumped it.

What type of ride are you looking for? I can recommend many different types.. but its all on what you want out of it..

*Do you plan on hauling anything? In the bed? On a trailer?

*Are you an off-roader, or on-roader?

*Do you mind a big bump, or are you looking for a softer hit when you go over or down something?

My back fabtech shocks are fine, I do plan on hauling small stuff, here and there, not on a regular basis though. The fabtech shocks in the front are fine, but not long enough, when I go over speed bumps they clunk, they are maxed out right now, I have been told they have 10" of travel, and 13" is the way to go? I found some nice bilstiens but I can't tell if they are longer? because they are rated by the numbers, ex 5900 and so on like that.

I plan on taking it offroad here and there, but its more on road, and I don't really care about bumps, I just want something that is a little longer, Thanks!!
