You're right, but I copied the PM as he wrote it. I assume he referenced the part numbers so we could compare it to the same part that comes with the lift.

Oh alright I am just going based off what they tell me. They probably just make it all up instead of telling you "It gets there when it gets there!"

Out of curiosity, I calculated the expected delivery date using the UPS "time-in-transit" quote for shipments sent via UPS Ground. It said that if the shipment was sent by Monday, October 12, 2009 I would have received it by end of day Thursday, October 15, 2009 (3 business days of transit time). So if my order was sent out Monday, when all orders were supposed to be sent out by, then I should have received it by now.

Let's not beat ourselves into a frenzy, it will work out.

We seem to be feeding each other's comments.

Let wait until we hear from Jacob, remember this is a big task and yes it would be nice to hear from Jacob but lets hold it together.

ltr,

not to rag on jacob but you cant be THAT forgiving.. if I had paid for brakets and spent $500(?) on coilovers and its hasnt arrived when supposed to i'd be demanding answers...

who knows maybe something HAS come up. you'll all have to wait and see, what else can you do.

I'm still prayng for you guys becuase I want coilovers from the "next" batch

^2. I always give everyone the benefit of doubt. I dont think it is really the length in time that it is taking more along the false "shipping out some today" posts and well the lack of posts...at this point ALL im asking for is direct update from Jacob himself.....a truthfull update

ltr,
It would be different if this was a no money down preorder, but we had to pay in full up front. This process was also only supposed to take two weeks from start to finish, but it has now been over two months. So as far as I'm concerned we have every right to be upset and question the group buy, especially since there has been almost zero communication. I know I'm not going to give it very much longer...

Ya know, I need to say this. Not one person seems to be concerned about anything but their goods.
Things happen.
I hope Jacob is ok.

I know this is not directed at me, but I need to clarify my situation so I will answer it like it is.

Jacob initially expected to have all of the brackets and hardware sent out within a couple of weeks. So I had planned to do the coilover conversion as soon as we received the coilover’s from ORW, which we were supposed to receive a few weeks after the coilover conversion hardware. Based upon this, I went ahead and sold my shocks and torsion bars. As a result, my Ranger has been on stands for nearly two months now since we still have not received the coilover conversion hardware. I had planned on the Ranger being down about a week, but not over a month. Needless to say, this is why I am frustrated.

I hope I have not come across as being an unsympathetic jerk but I just cannot wait any longer because my Ranger is my source of transportation when not working. So unless something changes within the next few days I'll probably end up having to have the brackets made locally just so I can get my Ranger back on the road.

Nothing I have previously said in the thread was meant to be callous; I’m just in a different situation than most, which is why this is such an issue to me.

At the time I just happened to be in the progress of installing my Superlift so I figured I could save some work by not having to mess with the torsion bars. By the time I finished installing the Superlift we were supposed to have the brackets in about a week so I went ahead and sold the bars and stock shocks. Thats not how it turned out though, but I'll get it done. Hindsight is 20/20.
