Everything is bolt-on with the exception of the support gussets, which have to be welded on. The hardest part of the install would be the welding. Other than that, it is fairly straight forward. You should not max out the adjustability of the coilover's if you get the right length.

Crap I can't weld well nick said 5" but if thats stock ride height then its not going to be tall enough because I have about 1.5" T-bar crank and belltech shackles in the rear so i want to lift the front even more to level it out again.

coilover shocks are much more adjustable than torsion bars. you should have no problem.

x2

I've got a couple lies out of him but that's about it. Needless to say I'm a little more then just "a bit disappointed".

He told me he shipped some of my stuff Tuesday and said he would get me a tracking number. That never happened and I know he didn't get them shipped then or they would be here.

I just want my ****. If I would've known it was going to take this long I would've just done it myself.

Jacob wtf is going on?

Due to a UPS error, my delivery date was rescheduled to Wednesday the 4th. I'm just hoping everything is okay with my shipment once I receive it. I think the only thing I am waiting on is the support bars.

Hope everything works out for everyone else!

I havent heard $hit either. What else is new?

I think its really awesome that Jacob has time for this crap:

https://www.ranger-forums.com/forum2...n-meet-tx.html

yet he cant seem to get our parts made. frustrating.

Oh well, its a lost cause now... hopefully it works out for a few more of you guys.

I have pretty much given up and have accepted the $330 loss from all of this. Next week I will be talking to some local fabricators to make some brackets for me. THANKS JACOB!

I agree. I don't have as much invested as you do. But it's just the simple fact that if he has time to do that then he has time to get our stuff finished.

I gave him the benefit of doubt for too long, but he straight up lied to me along with other members. It's funny how he disappears when **** isn't going right.

Jacob's friends, when you see this let Jacob know so he'll get online and straighten this out.

Yes, but he said in pm's that he had that straightened out last month. I appreciate him offering to do that. But I don't appreciate being lied to about things, sending my originals back.

He needs to get his **** straight.

Not saying it is. I was simply curious since I know I received what I ordered and mlw20lu got his set. I was simply curious if there was a common factor between the remaining people.

Did you order the extra set of Bars? Not sure what they are for again.

Guys....I am by no means sticking up for Jacob, and please don't take it that way. Jacob is a grown man and can speak for himself.

I do HOWEVER know that he was really really sick in bed this weekend. I just got off the phone with him, and I too am waiting for bracket's. He mentioned to me that he know's he's behind and he is trying to play catch-up. He mentioned to me that he didn't have much going on tomorrow, and was planning on working on bracket's tomorrow, and get them out in the mail before the end of the week. I don't know who all is missing their bracket's/parts/bars. I do agree with you guys, jacob is hard to get ahold of...but at the same time, he is EXTREMELY BUSY....not only with home but with work. The coilover meet we had, just ended up being a fluke and he was able to make it. Casey's had already recieved his bracket's prior to the install. I would say you guys need to pm (if you haven't already) and talk to him about your transactions.

Jacob is not a "take your money and run" so your 330 dollars is not a total loss. I understand that you payed and you expect what you payed for. Sometimes things happen that are out of our control. I know patience is a virtue..and alot of us don't have it..I certainly don't....so before you "NUKE" him....there might be more going on then you know.

The support bars are something our orders have in common. But there's been plenty of time for him to get this stuff done.

I was EXTREMELY BUSY earning that money that I used to pay for these parts. Had the flu for a couple weeks and still worked, being sick is not an excuse.

Pm's have been sent with little or no reply. I don't think Jacob is going to screw any of us but being lied to and the time it has taken is unacceptable.

Matt no offense but who are you to judge someone? You have no clue what has been on his plate. You have no right justifying whether or not his situation is honorable or not (if that's the right word for it) your choice to work while sick was your choice. this is really splitting hairs I know....and also he was relying on someone to do the powdercoating and ran into challenges. you can't fault him for that. BESIDES the point that he was doing this to be nice....and bring something to the ranger table (forum) that can improve all of our trucks. I understand you spent your hard earned money to get a product, and haven't gotten it in the timeline you expected. I agree with that. BUT....as I said before some things are out of people hands. Be it material, powdercoating, getting the bracket's welded up....that does take time. He does have a life, job, family just like all of us do. I really think your making a mountain out of mole hill. As I said before I talked to him last night on the phone, and he was trying to catch up today and get the order's fullfilled.

So if your that unhappy take it up with him. Get your money back, and make your own bracket's. I'm just telling you what I know, from talking to him. Hoping that it will help you guys out, via information and what not.

I laugh reading this thread. It was started on 8-11-2009. Almost 3 months ago, yes? Everyone has said they paid 2 months ago and expected everything promptly. STILL people are saying they haven't gotten their stuff. Where'd their money go then?

It's easy for you to sit here and defend this guy, RangerNVS, but you already have your **** don't you? Whether you know him or not, what he's doing is ridiculous.

I've only judged him based on his actions and lies. Like I said before I appreciate him offering to do this for us. But I don't appreciate being lied to.

I understand that there are a lot of factors that can alter someones schedule. If he would have explained his problems or whatever then there wouldn't be much of a problem. But to lie just ain't right!!

He needs to get on here and explain himself. He wasn't answering pm's so that is why I started in this thread. Not making a mountain out of a mole hill just bringing it out in the open so maybe we can get some kind of answer.

Tom no I do not have my bracket's....I'm waiting too. As I said before I with you on purchasing something and expecting it in a timely fashion. I agree with that. I'm just re-inforcing that he is not going to run with your money and leave you high and dry, and that things do happen, that impact people getting things done. That's all I'm saying. Yes he is my friend, yes I know him, and I have talked to him as I said in previous posts. He's working on it. I'm being patient just like you guys. You don't think I wanna get my kit on as bad as you guys? I'm chomping at the bit.....but I'm being patient. He hasn't been on here because he's swamped. Look at his profile. Last week is when he was on.

Patience only last so long for some of us. 2+ months and mine is running mighty thin.

Part of the reason I'm upset is that I want to hit up ure and want those bars, my originals atleast, so I won't have to worry about bending my crossmembers out of whack if I run up on something.

The main reason I'm upset is that he lied on more than one occasion to appease us and still doesn't make "his" deadline.

I'm sure you want your stuff as much as us. But it's different when you can contact him on the phone or in person, where as we can't. Believe me if I had the luxury I would have used it long before I posted in this thread.

I've seen that he hasn't been on. Swamped or not, if he has time to talk on the phone, help with a lift, or whatever, he has time to get on here to explain himself or be making the stuff he said he would make.

it wont be locked, Jacob needs to come in here and straighten it all up.

They can continue to flame away as far as I am concerned, it is warranted after no product 2 months later.

I am not impressed either. I actually feel bad about it and if knew what the specs were I would be glad to do the welding and finish it all up. I offered to help Jacob but no reply.
