Tom no I do not have my bracket's....I'm waiting too. As I said before I with you on purchasing something and expecting it in a timely fashion. I agree with that. I'm just re-inforcing that he is not going to run with your money and leave you high and dry, and that things do happen, that impact people getting things done. That's all I'm saying. Yes he is my friend, yes I know him, and I have talked to him as I said in previous posts. He's working on it. I'm being patient just like you guys. You don't think I wanna get my kit on as bad as you guys? I'm chomping at the bit.....but I'm being patient. He hasn't been on here because he's swamped. Look at his profile. Last week is when he was on.
Patience only last so long for some of us. 2+ months and mine is running mighty thin.
Part of the reason I'm upset is that I want to hit up ure and want those bars, my originals atleast, so I won't have to worry about bending my crossmembers out of whack if I run up on something.
The main reason I'm upset is that he lied on more than one occasion to appease us and still doesn't make "his" deadline.
I'm sure you want your stuff as much as us. But it's different when you can contact him on the phone or in person, where as we can't. Believe me if I had the luxury I would have used it long before I posted in this thread.
I've seen that he hasn't been on. Swamped or not, if he has time to talk on the phone, help with a lift, or whatever, he has time to get on here to explain himself or be making the stuff he said he would make.

it wont be locked, Jacob needs to come in here and straighten it all up.
They can continue to flame away as far as I am concerned, it is warranted after no product 2 months later.
I am not impressed either. I actually feel bad about it and if knew what the specs were I would be glad to do the welding and finish it all up. I offered to help Jacob but no reply.

I just talked to Jacob, and Seed your bracket's were in the mail this morning, that's coming from Jacob himself....I'm waiting on an answer back from him about the other's. Keep in mind guys I'm trying to help....so don't take it out on me. Not saying anyone has, but I think this mod is awesome, and I'm glad that we are able to do it.

As of yesterday I have been waiting for 3 months as I paid on August 2nd. At least I am supposed to get half of my hardware tomorrow though.
Is anyone interested in making or having your own brackets made? If so, here are some rough drawings I made with the help of Woods-Rider. The measurements are accurate, but it is not exactly to scale.
Just click on the image for the full size.
I had planned on using these to go ahead and make my own, but it looks as if I won't have to.
Good Luck!

Those drawings are actually from Jacob. I wasn not supposed to share them with anyone, but I was almost in the same boat as you guys and I would be pissed as well if i had to wait this long so i figured I would share them if anyone else wanted to make their own like I did (I didnt use the drawings though bcause like everything else he got them to me about a week later than he said he would and I didnt want to wait).

Hopefully he's telling the truth about sending the stuff out. He said in a pm that he had them done 9/17 and would send the originals back. Then in another pm he supposedly shipped them out last Tuesday. I can't believe anything until I get a tracking number or see them on my front step.

UPS just dropped my brackets off!
I am going to get them cleaned up with a glass bead machine and grinder and then drop them off for powdercoating. Once I get them back from powdercoating I will be sure to post up some pictures.

Got my brackets bead-blasted and grinded all nice and clean last night. This is definitely a must if you can locate the stuff to do it. Also, got them dropped off to my local powdercoater. They are going to be powdercoated a gloss black and candy blue texture with a second coat of clear.
