steering stops after 3" spindles
i bought a used pair of spindles for my truck which i installed last night. I need to notch out the LCA a little bit more to gain back some turning radius that is left on the table.
Anyone post what they've used for steering stops in this situation? Considering like a 3/8 Grade 8 nut/bolt through the LCA to try and get the job done.

yea i know, the instructions with any spindle says to do that or that will happen. The thing that we're discussing is where to put new steering stops at. since you are also supposed to cut the notch in the LCA out, that is affecting your turning radius if you did it too small, too large and things start stretching...like brake lines.
so my friend is going to tell me what his is lock to lock with fabtech spindles + steering stops, ill try and get mine close to that and see how it goes...then make a stop from there

Hey a little late, but check out this pdf on the spindles.

Fabtech I guess makes a steering stop for the kit and the part# is on that link. If you look at steps 6,7,8,9 you will see where they mount this steering stop. I've had the brakes going out on me for years now everytime I do a U-turn and its getting annoying. I want to get this fixed.
