They look just like the OE ones. I love those, they stay in good (meaning they are very nice and tight) and the boots are extra durable.

I had bad luck with moog and TRW, I'm on my 3rd set of lowers and 2nd set of uppers, 4th set of tie rods (about 65k miles I had the truck for), the best I've found is OE. They last a lot longer, and the boots are awesome compared to TRW or moog.

Just my opinion...plus they are less than 10 dollars each You can get them at any autozone, pepboys, or napa too! Usually they have to order them, but they come in a day or so

I know this will start an argument.

But I think moog are overpriced and waste of money. I am all for doing the right thing, and usually that is the most expensive, but I've run Moog, TRW, and OE lower ball joints. I had a HUGE problem with moog, I put the lowers on, a month later, both boots were ripped (no, they were not over greased) so I went through autozone (where I got them ordered from) and they offered me new boots for free...so I put them on...same problem, except this time I caught it a little late, I ended up getting mud/sand in the joint and ruined it. So by then, I was installing my TRW ones..well, I got one that was loose out of the box, I had to return it automatically. Then I finally got two good ones in my hands...1st problem I had with them, you have to put the boot on yourself...thats BS because most the time they break when you try to put them on...but after a while of cursing and grunting I finally got it on. Well...I lasted just a few months thenh the right side came loose...it came down out of the place it sits normally (about 1/2") out of the lower control arm, the only thing that kept my spindle on was the c clip around the lower...when I went to replace it this past weekend, I just hit it with a hammer and it slid right out...not too happy with the quality of it. It was scored and almost looked shattered, there was metal shavings all around it.

Now for OE's. They were 9 dollars each, I'm not cheap by any means, but why spend more money when you don't have to? They are greasable as well. Nice tight fit, nice quality, I'd say better than TRW, but not nicer than moog, I just don't like moog LOWERS because the boot tends to rip.

I did my moms explorer with oe's, 35k miles ago...no problems. Just for a comparison that is.

I don't mind moog uppers, I like them because they are one of the few greasable ones. But IMO ball joints and tie rods DON"T need to be greased, I usually find that I never have to grease them, and if you do, you usually stretch the boot too much and break it.

I will run moog uppers and tie rods, they are nice quality....but I can't stomach the lowers :(
