hey guys finally settled my insurance accident and im getting 5gs. yeayea. have to save half. looks like someones getting a new lift.

what kind of lift are you going to go with... how much are you willing to spend?

Well, for the average person without a decent welder, getting a solid axle swapped in for under $2500 is going to be tough, considering a lot of the work will have to be done in a shop.

that would be insane... but his name is showranger so i dont think he could get much use out of it.... i could be wrong though.....

i think you should put on:
6 inch suspension lift from skyjacker..
2. in bodylift
35 inch wrangler mtrs
onboard air..
mayber a locker in the rear and front... for those burnouts
thats all i can think of right now

Halo 2

theres a sale at the truck place here on their bodylifts. So im gunna do a P.A. 3 inch lift with either 33" bfg all terrians or 33" cooper discovery st.

You don't need a body lift to run 33"s. You don't need to do anything in fact, except put the tires on.

are you serious??? without tearing the hell out of his tires?? wow i didnt know that new Xlts could fit 33s stock

i dont think you can cause the wheel well is thus baout 3"

I've been running 33"s on my '02 XLT for almost 3 years now and there is no damage to the tires or the truck.

How much do you offroad, Dave, and to what extent? Have you ever cycled the suspension through full travel front and back?

Also, let them know your wheel backspacing since that could be important for them to know to emulate your success.

wow that is pretty cool... but how much would the suspension be able to flex.... and also... are you running a sway bar there dave?? b/c i have a 4 inch suspension and a 3 inch body and myne rub on the swaybar.... well you learnsomething new everyday huh? lol
