easiest way to lift back end

Belltech shackles will probably get you around 1.5" of lift (I never measured mine but it was somewhere around there, maybe even 2". They won't hurt ride quality.
Longer blocks and u-bolts can be picked up, but your axle wrap will be even worse.
Swapping in Explorer leaf springs or Explorer Sport Trac springs should give you around 3" of lift. Search and you'll find some info on it.

Ya know.. I've actually been thinking of dropping out the rear block and throwing in a drop shackle and AAL, or a Deaver leaf set - does anyone know the right combination to get it back to "stock" height off the 2.5" block being gone? Would love to get it feeling a bit more settled in back there; traction bars are fantastic... but being able to plant your rear end in any terrain is the best feeling ever
