Is this even possible?

A friend of mine removed the body lift from his 01 Ranger and sold it to a guy with a 98. Then about three weeks ago he decides he wants a new one. So he went out and bought one from PA that is made for a 98-00. We are thinking that since his original lift fit from an 01 to a 98, then shouldnt a 98 lift fit on a 01?

yes its been discussed a million times. there are a few differences. fuel line sizes and bumper brackets to name a few.
