IF and when I get there Coil Overs are the only way to go front and rear.
My Ranger now has a 4” lift with coil-overs in the frt and it lays in a corner better than my wife t-bars but it take a knowledgable person to get the right shocks/spring setup for the application you have in mind and not me.
Don’t just buy the first thing that pops up for shocks, do a lot of reading and talk to people that know.
luck

you can make leafs ride nicely. with a nice pair of shocks could make it nice and stiff. you could change the rate with how arched the leafs are or the number of leafs in the pack. with coils or coilovers you can easily change the way it rides stiff/ soft etc basing everything off of spring rates and valving of shocks. i love my coilovers because all my truck sees is road. i think it would be a bit more difficult to do a coilover setup just because of all that is involved. with leafs it seems a lot more straight forward. there are pros and cons to both.
