AAL help needed asap

Ok, scotty g and i went to the local 4 wheeling place and i bought a set of AAls for my springs i got....Well i got home and started working on them and i can get pictures if needed, but im sure someone will know what im talking about....this set of leafs just have 3 leaves....well the bracket type thing that holds the top 2 in line, looks like a C thats wrapped around the leafs (the only thing on the leaf springs) is hitting the AAls when i lay them on there, should i cut 1 or 2 inches off the AAL on the side that has the bracket? or take them back...the guy took forever trying to find them and we matched them up to scottys truck but they will hit that bracket, what will i loose if i cut a couple inches off one side???

Thanks
Rocky

I would not cut the springs
if you do you might create even worse of a leaner
go back and get the correct parts

Just bend it back out of the way with a prybar put the aal in and when you are all done lay the leaf spring assembly on the side and hammer it back. That's what I did.

Theres nothing to pry back...your suppose to put it between the bottom (shortest) leaf and the one above it....if i put it on the top of everything then yeah i would be able to slide it in there, but since its suppose to go between those that bracket is bolted to the leaf, which means you cant pry it up....
