ford was wrong
So a while back something started to pop in the front end and I took it to ford. They gave me a long speech on how my modifications destroyed my inner tierod endjoints. So i take off mods and bring it to another dealer for warranty. They denied it but they told me it probably wasnt my tierods. So after this i decided to forget about goin with for and bringing it to one of my mechanic friends who knows what hes doing. He later tells me its my upper ball joints and they need to be replaced and hes doing this at cost for parts. After all that iv decided never to go to ford again because of there prices and most of them that work there are DEE DEE DEE.
Also he wanted me to research on some upper ball joints that will last forever with my mods so if anyone knew of a company that would be great thanks.

I've got a nice Spicer upper arm, greaseable that is heavier than stock.
Here's a post I did about it. I heard somewhere that these are discontinued, but might be around somewhere, you never know -- or they could just still be made, not sure.

i will never take my truck to a dealer, they just assume they know what the problem is they never actually confirm it, we have had to go 3 times to get the AC fixed on our low mile F250, we had an oil leak on our explorer, they replaced as seal for a crap load of money and its still leaking, checked it myself, gues what valve cover gaskets! how do you miss that! seems to me they just fix what they think is wrong without ever looking for the actual problem

I hate taking my truck to the dealership to get it fixed, but I have a premium extended warrenty on my truck. I have had my truck in fo the transmission 3 or 4 times and the have done over $5300 work to it and overhauled it several times. I think I need to take it in again too, it will have to be soon because my warrenty ends in about 1200 miles.

I have never taken a car to a dealer for work and with luck I never will. And that is the exact reason. They make a guess about what the problem may be based on what you describe, they dont check anything to see if what they guessed is actually the problem, then half the time they BREAK something else, while trying to install the parts that didnt even need to be replaced, and then charge you for it.
