KYB questions

In the market for some shocks and not sure which KYB to buy, GR-2 or Gas-a-just. the gr-2 are more of a performance shock whereas the gas-a-justs are more geared for trucks. I got a 2wd ranger, that sees dirt roads here and there, and very little off-roading.

Go with the gas-a-just shocks. I've run both on various cars, and found the gas-a-justs handle better.

Hey fellas.. he rarely see's offroading.. so I personally wouldnt recommend MonoMax...

BUT - If you like to haul loads, then yes, I woudl recommend MonoMax, as they can hold up a whole lot more, from a personal opinion, its well worth it.

On the spot!! The main difference between all 3 shocks is this...
MonoMax(mono-tube shock)...high compression shocks, ideally for 4x4's and trucks with a high center of gravity.
Gas-A-Just(mono-tube shock)...Same as the MonoMax except 15% less dampening rate and a smaller bore size, ideally for 2 wheel drive trucks.
GR2(twin-tube shock)...Made specifically for most passenger cars. 40% less dampening rate than the MonoMax.

But, if you tow or haul heavy loads go with the MonoMax's, if not Id suggest the Gas-A-Just's.
