can anyone tell me a good place to get b rated torsion bars for my 03 ranger 4x4. i have a 4 in super lift and 3 inch body lift. i run 35 in tires and my stock bars are done for. i am in co and cant find the bars anywhere

or you can wait for someone to make coilover brackets and buy those along with coilovers

 

so if i got to coil overs i dont need the torsion bars??????
cause i can weld so i could probably make a set if i can find the plans

 

yup, pretty much takes torsion bars out of the equation. which means for you no more rock catchers lol. i think there may be a thread somewhere on here deep in like 30 something pages with some rough sketches of the mounts but they dont give angles, or anything which i dont know if youd need or what not but they seem pretty straight forward.

 

I'd go with coilovers or the heaviest bars you can get. I installed #1 bars and I don't think the ride got worse at all. Still rides like a Ranger. lol
