How can i get lower?
How can i get lower?
I was wondering how i can get my truck lower..i already flipped the rear hangers and it drop about 2-3" but i was wondering how to go lower in the back....are the front hangers able to flip?
And to the OP, you'll need to notch the frame, if you haven't already, but you can remove the second leaf from the rear spring pack, and that should net you about 2" more, plus a smoother ride.
Belltech sells "lowering hangers" for the front hanger as well. I believe they do about the same as flipping the hangers, but I don't know of anybody that has done it.

he said he flipped the shackles not the axle so
yah im confused to- if you flipped your hangers, you can still go for a springunder axle kit and that will lower it the width of the axle, and from there just notch the frame and add lowering blocks if you want to get low for cheap. I got Western chassis hangers that lower my rear of the 88 around 3"
ok all i did was flip the rear hangers...no flip kit or anything....and in my avatar pic...my truck isnt even lowered there yet lol... no axle flip or anything...and fliping the axle on top of the leafs is going to give me a termendouse drop....i only need about another 1-2".
i just flipped the rear hangers..no flip kit or anything..just the free way lol.

Damn Johnbaum13; you just got powed by Downey
ill try to post a pic of the current stance of my truck...after only flipping the rear hangers....but i do have bigger tires in the back...the front tires are: 225/70R15..and theback are 225/75R15...so that does make a little diff. in hight
